AIR CADET ORGANIZATION WINS
TOP SAFETY AWARD

The Air Cadets Organization has achieved its fourth, consecutive, International Safety Award from the British Safety Council, one of the world’s leading training and advisory bodies.

To apply, the ACO had to achieve below average accident rates and all winners were required to demonstrate sound safety policies and plans with a commitment to health and safety at the highest level. Head of Health and Safety had to detail his qualifications and provide information about significant health and safety advancements that the organization has made during the year.

Donald Gordon, Head of Health and Safety for the Air Cadet Organization said: “The main significance of this, our ‘fourth’ International Safety Award, is acknowledgement by an internationally recognised body, of the efforts we have taken to ensure the safety of our volunteers and cadets.”
