DONCASTER AIR CADETS COMMIT TO THE MASTER CUTLER CHALLENGE
Air Cadets from Doncaster are rising to the challenge this year by raising funds for the Master Cutlers Challenge and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Unlike any other fund raising event the cadets wanted to do something a little different by means of a plane pull. But this will be no ordinary plane - as cadets will be pulling one of the Royal Air Force's Red Arrows. The event will take place at RAF Scampton, home of the Red Arrows aerobatic team on Monday 28th July 2008.
All monies raised will go to the Mater Cutlers Challenge, raising money for St. Luke's and Rotherham hospices patients and families whose lives have been affected by an incurable illness, and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in a 50/50 split. The event will also be attended by The Master Cutler, Gordon Bridge and a representative from the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Staff and cadets will be seeking sponsorship and support for the challenge so please show your much needed support to both the cadets (aged 13-19 years) and the charities involved.
Further information can be obtained from the Squadron Headquarters at Scarbrough Barracks, Sandford Road, Doncaster between 7.00 and 9.00 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday evenings or call 01302 310412.
