Adult Staff Training Courses

Adult Staff in the Air Cadet Organisation.

The Adult Training Facility (ATF) is part of HQ Air Cadets located at RAF Cranwell.
The training facility is located in BB329W (East Camp area) and is staffed by personnel with RAF service.
It is established for the purpose of providing courses of instruction for RAFVR (T) Officers and Adult Senior Non-Commissioned officer/Warrant Officers, to enable them to perform the range of duties on Air Training Corps (ATC) squadrons, Volunteer Gliding Schools (VGSs) and Combined Cadet Force (CCF) RAF sections in the Air Cadet Organisation. Courses provided are:

Officers’ Senior Courses (OSC)
Officers’ Initial Courses (OIC)
CCF Officers’ Initial Courses (CCF OIC)
Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Staff Initial Course (SSIC)
Senior Non-Commissioned Staff Drill Instructors' Course (SSDIC)

All courses are of five days duration, assembling on Sunday evening for a short brief. Tuition begins on Monday morning with all courses dispersing on Friday at midday.
